grounds of the pazo

With 402,000 m2 of Pazo estate you can enjoy nature without leaving the Hotel.

The highlight of the Pazo is our 4 km Barbeirón Path, exclusively for guests. Here you can enjoy all the charms that nature has to offer without having to leave the Pazo grounds, starting from the main entrance.

Walking our path is the perfect way to unwind and activate all of your senses. Enjoying the unique landscape, breathing the fresh forest air, walking on an ancient Roman terrace while enjoying the noises of the San Lazaro River on the background.

You will meet Tom & Jerry , our Barroso breed oxen highlighted by their large antlers. This breed is famous for having participated in series like "Doctor Who", shows like "Big Brother" and in a fashion advertisement for the chain "Gucci".

Delve into the Waterfall , with a small and very private river area. Without a doubt one of our favourite places to enjoy complete tranquillity alone.

Read a book at the Mirador dos Bancales. Located in an old Roman terrace you can enjoy picturesque and spectacular views. Go early, because it makes you want to stay there for the whole afternoon.

In summer enjoy the Barbeirón kitchen in the Garden with music and a romantic atmosphere.

In addition, Pazo Barbeiron is located in a unique place in the Ribeira Sacra of Ourense, in A Pobra de Trivés. In this unique area you will find many interesting places and activities that will make your trip unforgettable.
